BOD clarification regarding validity of covenant amendments and 2008 annual meeting - .doc

November 9th - The Breckenridge North Board of Directors responded to the questioning by some homeowners at the November 3, 2008,
Annual Meeting as to the validity of the Amendments To The Declaration Of Covenants, Conditions, And Restrictions dated February 2, 2006,
the 2008 mailing of the proposed amendment to Section 7.8.B., and the 2008 annual meeting notice. The Board's clarification and reasoning
are included in the above .doc file (later to be posted to the Covenants page).

October 18th - The minutes for July's Board meeting are now on the Covenants page. This past April, in addition to the regular Board meeting,
the Board also held a special meeting for two homeowner's Covenants Committee appeals. Those minutes are also now posted.

October 3rd - The Board has formed a nominating committee to assist in the selection of the successor to Pat M. If you would like to be
considered for a position on the Board, see Kristen, Karen W., or Pat M. You should be recieving a mailer shortly on this.
Also, we have a new representative at Clagett. She is Carrie Lyons. Her information is below.

August 26th - The minutes of the April 2008 Board meeting have been added to the Covenants page.

June 13th - Looks like the eaglets have ventured out on their own. Have a safe and happy summer. 

April 21st - In yet more Covenants Committee changes, welcome Rich P.  Additionally, David W. resigned from the committee.
Final CC tally? 5 members. Karen W., Sam R., Eric O., Kerry V., and of course Rich. We wish them well in their efforts to serve the community.

April 20th - Welcome our new member to the Covenants Committee, Kerry V. 
To keep everyone updated, your Board of Directors has 3 members, Darren P. Pat M., and Jim Pe.
Also, check the message board for a message from our current Association president, Darren P.

February 24th -  BC Partners has developed a plan that would prevent Breckenridge Way from being a busy main thoroughfare. To get it approved, 
they will need community support at the county commissioner meetings. Details will be posted here, when available.

The Planning commission has called a public hearing (public can speak) on the new Subdivision Regulations 7pm Tuesday March 4 in the Charles Town
Library. The 162-page draft is at: http://www.jeffersoncountywv.org/Subdv%20Regs%20-%202.19.08%20-%20Final%20Draft.\
The hearing has a legal ad, but isn't on the county website.
Also, the County Commission will discuss among themselves (public can watch) the new Zoning Ordinance & Map 10am Mondays March 10-24, also in the Charles Town Library. The draft will be on the web next Thursday.
January 08th - Lot 22 no longer belongs to the community. At last Tuesday's county meeting, BC Partners gave the +/- 15 acres to Jefferson county for the construction of a new elementary school. November 20th - The minutes of the Board meeting of October 10th have been posted on the CC page. Additionally, the minutes of the November 2006 Board meeting have also been posted. November 14th - Congratulations to Jim P.! The 28 homeowners present at the annual Board meeting last night elected him to the Board. October 22nd - The approved minutes for the July 23rd meeting are posted on the CC page. August 23rd - After a few interesting days at the message board, I think we've settled down a bit now. In a nutshell, if something is important enough to say, put your name on it.
Anonymous or unidentified posts will be deleted ASAP. On to further business. A hearing for appeal of fines incurred during a violation was heard on June 6th by the Board.
